There are a ton of recipes for biscotti, but the one here makes what I consider a perfect almond biscotti. It’s a simple recipe, and you can whip up a batch quickly. Simple and delicious are a good combination! It is from A Platter of Figs, an excellent cookbook by David Tanis. The only change I make to this recipe is that in addition to the sliced almonds the recipe calls for, I also add a handful of whole almonds, roughly chopped.
